Into
the West
(Galway, Connemara, The Burren, Cliffs
of Moher, Kylemore Abbey)
This
personal, mini-coach tour will captivate the more
discerning traveller. Truly this is “The Wild
West”. Spend Friday night in Galway. The following
day we travel into legendary Connemara from the
shores of Galway Bay. This rugged landscape, where
even the trees bend to the wind, is “Romantic
Ireland”. Take a walk in this wild countryside.
Stop where you like and when you like. Visit hidden
lakes and luscious waterfalls. We stay in Galway
on Saturday night, where entertainment of genuine
traditional Irish Music is guaranteed. On Sunday
we head for the The Burren, in Co. Clare. The Burren
is the 8th wonder of the world. This part of Ireland
has one of the strangest landscapes in Europe. Visit
the Cliffs of Moher, which rise to a height of almost
700 feet over the atlantic ocean and stop at various
places of historical interest. Get a taste of Ireland
and experience the west!
